These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Beyond Site mobile application (“the App”), published by AstralApps (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By installing or using the App you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. The Beyond Site app
Beyond Site monitors websites, SSL certificates, DNS records, and related availability signals on the device where the App is installed. The App performs checks using your own device. We do not operate a server that performs monitoring on your behalf, and we are not responsible for the uptime of any website you choose to monitor.
3. Subscriptions and billing
The free plan lets you monitor up to three websites. Beyond Site Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription, purchased through the Apple App Store. Your first month may be free where offered. After any free period, the subscription renews automatically and is charged to your store account unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your store account settings. Prices are shown in your local currency at checkout and may vary by region.
4. Refunds
Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store, and any refunds are governed by that store’s own refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact the store from which you purchased the subscription.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the App by, any third party. You must not use the App to probe, scan, or test any system, network, or service that you do not own or are not authorised to test.
6. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, source code, name, logo, and content, is owned by AstralApps and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the App.
7. Third-party services
The App may allow you to use third-party services, such as your email provider for alert notifications or public DNS resolvers for checks. Those services are provided by their respective operators and are subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of any third-party service.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any alert, check, or notification will be delivered in time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AstralApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
